Lovely Surf
Bill Boyum, a good friend here on Maui, shot this video from the bluff above Ho’okipa and from the water. Bill is a true Xtreme Geezer, braving this heavy surf in fins and swim goggles with a waterproof handheld camera. Bill admits to 50+. Great footage.
Chuck Patterson–the big guy in these shots–probably doesn’t consider himself an Xtreme Geezer yet, but at 42 he certainly isn’t a kid. Unlike Connor Baxter, the skinny kid hanging out with him. I think Connor is still 16, though he might have snuck into 17 when I wasn’t watching.
